SAROST’s Vessels Division offers the following services:

• Management and Operating of the OSV’s owned by SAROST S.A, or its affiliates.
• Offshore Support Vessels chartering and operating for the account of the vessel Division clients.
• Anti-pollution at sea
• Fire fighting at sea
• Towing and salvage at sea

SAROST owns and operates a fleet of two vessels specifically built for the offshore oil industry. The “ASHTART” was built by the FALKENBERG shipyard in SWEDEN ( 4400 bhp – 40 t bp – FIFI 1 supply vessel); and the “ISIS” was built by the  CHANTIERS ET ATELIERS LAPERRIERE shipyard in FRANCE (3400 bhp – 38 t bp – FIFI 1 anchor handling tug supply vessel ). Both vessels are ISM, ISPS and BV certified.
                                                                                                                         
The officers and crew of SAROST’s fleet are well trained and experienced. Our officers and crew participate regularly in ongoing trainings to update their knowledge, and are trained as per S.T.C.W. convention.

In accordance with Tunisian law, SAROST is also registered with the Tunisian Marine Authorities as a ship owner under N° 01.002.96. SAROST is registered as a ship broker under N° 06.004.96, as a ship manager under N° 08.005.01, and as an assistance and salvage company under N ° 09.002.96. These registrations allow SAROST more flexibility to satisfy the needs of its clients.

SAROST is also a member of the INTERNATIONAL MARINE CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION (IMCA)’s Marine Division, and, as a member, acts actively to contribute to the improvement of safety conditions at sea.

SAROST plans to obtain ISO certification by 2010.
